Abazid strives to stay on the cutting edge of new dental technologies. Abazid's Skills and perfectionism was noticed by his instructors during his senior year and he was given the privilege of assisting his instructors in teaching 1st and 2nd year dental school students. Abazid is member of the Alpha Honor Society and the Golden Key International Honor Society. Abazid was also given the award of excellence in Pediatric Dentistry. Abazid graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Dentistry where he was awarded the Outstanding Senior Award as well as the Deans Award. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with minor in Biology and concentration in Biochemistry, with the highest honors. Four of his brothers are physicians a Pediatrician, a General Surgeon, Orthopedic Surgeon and Cardiologist. Abazid was raised in a family with a background in healthcare.
